This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.

TapReact Pro is purchased through Apple. We do not receive your payment card details or Apple ID billing information.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

All content you import or create in the App, including reaction photos, GIFs, and names or labels you assign, is stored locally on your device. The companion app and the custom keyboard share this library on your device through Apple’s App Group container. We do not have access to this data, and it is not transmitted to our servers.

Importing Photos and GIFs

The App uses Apple’s photo picker so you can choose existing photos and GIFs to import into your reaction library. The picker lets you select items without granting the App access to your entire photo library. Imported media is stored locally on your device for use in the companion app and the custom keyboard. We do not upload or transmit your reaction media to our servers.

Custom Keyboard and Full Access

The App includes a custom keyboard extension that shows your saved reactions while you type in other apps. To copy a reaction to the system pasteboard for pasting, iOS may require you to enable “Allow Full Access” for the keyboard in Settings.

Reaction library data is shared locally between the companion app and the keyboard through the App Group container on your device. We do not receive the content you type in other apps through the TapReact keyboard, and we do not upload your keystrokes or reaction media to our servers.

Feedback and Support

If you choose to share feedback through the App, the App opens a Google Forms feedback form. Any information you choose to submit through that form may be processed by Google and by us for the purpose of reviewing feedback and improving the App. Feedback is optional.

If you contact us by email, we will receive the information you choose to include in your email, such as your email address and message content. We use this information only to respond to your request and provide support.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not require you to create an account.
We do not require you to provide personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number to use the App.
We do not use analytics, crash reporting, or tracking tools of any kind.
We do not collect device identifiers or location data.
We do not collect or transmit keystrokes entered while using the TapReact keyboard.
We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies in the App.
We do not display advertisements or use advertising SDKs.

How We Use Information

Locally stored reaction photos, GIFs, and names are used solely to provide the App’s core functionality on your device, including display in the companion app and the custom keyboard.
The photo picker is used only so you can choose photos and GIFs to import into your reaction library. The App does not request access to your entire photo library.
Full Access, when enabled, is used so the keyboard can copy reactions to the pasteboard for pasting into other apps.
Optional feedback and support messages are used to respond to you, troubleshoot issues, and improve the App.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for advertising or tracking.

The App communicates with the following third-party services:

Google Forms, if you choose to submit feedback through the feedback form.
Your email provider, if you choose to contact us by email.
Third-party apps you paste into or select through iOS system pasteboards or sharesheets, which then handle content according to their own policies.

These third-party services may process information according to their own privacy policies. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs.

Data Storage and Security

All reaction library content is stored locally on your device, including shared App Group storage used by the companion app and the keyboard extension. We do not operate servers or databases that store your App content.

The security of your data depends on the security of your device and any device-level protections you have enabled, such as a passcode or biometric authentication.

Data Retention and Deletion

Since App content is stored locally on your device, you have control over it. You can delete individual reactions within the App, or delete all App data by uninstalling the App from your device.

If you contact us by email or submit optional feedback, we may retain that communication as needed to respond to you, provide support, and improve the App, unless you ask us to delete it where applicable.

Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The App does not require an account or personal information to use. If you believe a child has provided personal information through optional feedback or support contact, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
